Long time no post
I haven't posted anything in a WHILE. Dgrin gives you this message prodding you to post, and since I read the forum quite often, I felt the prodding rather acutely
So here's a photo shoot I did with a photographer friend just for fun. She took shots of me as well, so I can't wait to see how those came out.

I just integrated the Facebook social plug-in on my blog so it was great to see some results in google analytics.
Thanks for looking, and if you have a c/c, please do let me know. I take feedback to heart.

You just keep getting better! I particularly like 1+3 (the framing on 3 works a treat), but the oof highlights in 2 are awesome. What lens are you using?
Oh, and I just noticed the arrow in the first one! I can't decide if I want it cloned out or made more prominent - either would work, I think. Fun!
I really did go back to my lurking days!
I used the 50 1.4 on #1 and 3, and the 135L on #2.
I too wasn't sure about the yellow arrow in #1. I had tried cloning it out and then desaturating it. In the end, I left it because it's not the first nor the last thing you see in the photo, and I think the line helps make you zoom in on her eyes. I wasn't sure if that's how others would see it as well though

Where's all that "gutsy" stuff that came from shooting from the knee w/ no eyeball on the viewfinder? I remember them as clear as day and while these are good, I'll likely forget about 'em in a couple of days.
Really, though, good to see ya again!
