...one of many held across the US in recent days. This one in Hollyood on May 8, 2010.

Some 60 - 100 people attended this location, while other ARCO Stations (BP affiliate) were similarly attended around Los Angeles.

One photo posted here with others in my gallery. Please look and feel free to comment at will. Thank you.

I wish there was something in this one that said BP or Arco.

headscratch.gif I'm not sure I get this. Are you saying that we need to see the official logo somewhere? It's pretty clearly a gas station and the inference doesn't require a great leap, IMO.

Yeah, that's why I found BD's comment puzzling.

I will hazard a guess as for me it was my first reaction as well. Without a gas station brand indicator, this could have just as easily been people in front of a Citgo or Chevron station trying to drum up business. I think having the BP/Arco logo on the gas station will help to present context and placement.

To me as well, having a protestor smiling is a a little odd.

Overall though it is a good composition I am just not sure it tells a story.

Hey, to each his own. mwink.gif If I was an assigning editor, and I sent someone to cover a protest at a BP gas station, I would damn well expect to see a BP sign in the photo. But I'm not Angelo's assigning editor, so...rolleyes1.gif
