Last year peak was the first few days of October. Historically from what I've heard peak usually happens in the last week of September or first week of October. The aspens and cottonwoods can peak at different times or the same time, it varies year to year.
I took two weeks off last year during this period, with the plan to hit Grand Teton on whatever week was peak and Yellowstone the other week.
Thanks, Ron. Glad I asked. With the altitude I was thinking it might be a couple of weeks sooner than that. That could work out well for me. Fall up here will be done by then so I can enjoy it twice.
