Looks like he's going to jump right out of the water and have you for dinner!

It was making me nervous, when i first saw him he was in the middle of the pond, He came right to me with in 5 min. I had my wife standing behind me and off to the side while i got low to the ground to take the photo. Hoping "we" looked to big to eat. We left with all fingers and toes intact. I hate to say it but i think people have been feeding him because of the way he was acting. if so thats not good for him or people.

Do you know gators can move incredibly fast for short bursts? No way would I have gotten that close to a gator in the wild.

He wasn't that big and i can run faster than my wife so i wasn't worried. lol. it was just a 3ft and i had a look out on a small walking bridge a few yards away keeping an eye out for anything sneaking up under the water which was 3 ft deep at most.
