I think this has potential. I find the foreground to the left of the post distracting. The post and lines on the right in the foreground work for me, lead me into the welder's space. I wonder if there's any possibility of recovering the blown lights of the fire.

Cropping on the left will also bring the welder subject more on a third, rather than central!
If shot in raw one may et more from the welding light....
