    generally a nice shot, and beautiful bokeh. It looks like the point of focus is a bit off off, too far forward.

    Yeah, I'm not entirely happy with the focus. I generally aim to get the eyes in focus on most shots. I'm new to macro and am still working on my hand-held focusing skills.:uhoh Thanks for the comments.

    try shooting a few frames quickly, as you move slightly atleast one should have focus where you want it

    Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, at the moment, my flash is a little underpowered (Nikon SB-400) and won't recycle quite fast enough. :(
    I may need to upgrade eventually.
