I currently carry my D90 in my camelbak but would like to accomplish a few things. One, make the camera easier to get to without taking off my camelbak and two, get the camera on my chest(some kind of harness) or low on my back. Any suggestions? I am really leaning towards the Lowepro Inverse 100 AW because it looks very secure at the lower back and I could swing it around to the front fairly quickly by the looks of it. Any suggestions or feedback on this bag appreciated.

This seems like what you are asking for. I have seen these bags at a local store and they look really nice.

I've found that most any top loader that fits your camera body and 'walk-around' lens works well chest mounted. This is accomplished easily if the bag in question has some D-rings or the like that you can use with mini carabiners to attach to your Camelbak straps. Then use the shoulder strap as a waist/back strap.

I've done this with Lowepros, and now with my wife's old M-Rock top loader she outgrew that has attachment rings galore.

The amount of pictures I took during rides went up exponentially when I got the camera off my back as it's just that much more readily accessible. I use the same setup when skiing or boarding.
