Very nice Ben. clap.gif The GBH and the Night Heron stand out in this series. The colors and the punch of these pics are much better than some of your other recent shots. Are you doing anything different in your post work?

As everyone has already said, A great series of shots. Only thing that bothers me is that you "flashed" a turtle!!! headscratch.gif

Remind me to steer clear of you in the bush if you're wearing an overcoat :D

    Hi Harry
    How do you mean that???
since starting to shoot raw I follow your teaching and still reading Ron's book.

If I have to do more in post I'm usually not happy with the shot :cry
These shots received only the usual treatment, per your instructions.

OH Harry, IT WAS THE LIGHT!!! As you mentioned in a previous post thumb.gif

One neat thing about this place is it's thick with trees and such which causes even afternoon light to be interesting, know what I mean :D
And with the flash you can get some good effect. Look forward to going there again thumb.gif

As a husband and a father I'm not used to that. Having the right light will make an amazing difference in your pic quality. The range of colors and detail you can capture is so much greater. Good work. clap.gif

I can relate to the Husband, Father line. However I'd be a bigger "FOOL" if I did not pay close attention to your work and words. You share here what I and others would have to pay big time $$$ for. If I have improved it has a lot to do with listening to your words and seeing your Pristine work (reading your EXIF doesn't hurt either!!).

I whole heartly thank you for that, and look forward to the day I can tell you in person!! bowdown.gif

Speaking of Father, how's the soldier doing, well I hope?? Is he getting short??
