Aptos Beach and hi-speed sync

This is my 1st time I have set out to get good shots in noon day california sun! So we head out to Aptos Beach just south of Santa Cruz. I am rather pleased with the results. Note they don't come out SOOC like this..I definitely needed some different PP then normal.

    Wow!!! Nice set man! The ones that stand out for me are the second one of your son and the first one of your wife. THe second one of her is nice, but her smile is( to me) a bit stressed and unnatural, just my HO though!

    thanks for looking and commenting. yeah..I love 2). I captured a great pose and expression I think. heh..I didn't notice the smile in 5) but you are right.. looks forced. This was an excercise in fill flash in bright sunlight mostly.

    the flash was on camera..if you look at he fence line you can see a slight shadow
