Steptoe Butte in the Palouse...

We went up to Steptoe Butte this weekend. What a great place!! Here are a couple of pictures. I was using my Sony a700, Tamron 70-300mm and Tamron 200-500mm.

Steptoe Butte is pretty high out in the middle of wheat country. This crop duster was quite a ways below me.

Such beautiful rolling hills. We waited all afternoon for some good light in the evening. It was worth the wait!

    Nice series, Ron . . . but the last one is exceptional! I love looking at these Palouse shots--and I like how you included the farm buildings in this one to give some context and added depth.
