Color Effect Color Correction vs Bay Photo

So I'm at a quandry. I have images that are underexposed, yet look pretty good when using Tools-->More-->Apply Color Effect-->Auto Color Corrrected.

I'm wondering if this image will look better/equal/not as good as the original photo sent to Bay Photo for correction. (I'm assuming a color effected image is sent to Bay versus the original since the original is altered.) My guess is the original image sent to Bay will be better, but then the display copy won't look good enough to encourage sales. :dunno

Any thoughts and feedback appreciated. :thumb

not even close. Bay Photo color correction is by experienced techs, by hand. Our online tool is a robot (a good one, but can't do as well as the pros at Bay).

Thank you for the reply Andy. :)

So am I correct to assume the color corrected image would be sent to the printer if I alter it via the Apply Color Effect tool? What would you suggest for the underexposed images? One thing I was thinking was to alter them and use print delay to then replace it with the original so Bay can do the correction. Any other suggestions?

Yes, a color-effects color corrected image would be sent to the lab. I really just recommend that you let bay handle the color correction thumb.gif

Thank you again Andy. Any other suggestion for making the sale besides print delay?
