Nikon D700 with Nikon 16-35mm VR & Nikon 85mm F1.4, CPL. No tripod except for the last one (HDR with 5 exposures).

Shot in RAW, opened and processed in PS CS3, Topaz Adjust, NIk's Color Efex.

    Thanks.

Beautiful series. clap.gif. I was there a couple of years ago when the lakes were still half frozen.

WOW! Fantastic shots for a first post to DGrin!! Welcome, please continue to share.

I am surprised that only the last one was an HDR. The pic of Banff's town looks unreal thumb.gif Can you tell me when these were all taken? How recently were you there? I'll be there in just over a month's time and am wondering how much snow will still be around.

    Wonderful shots.
I was there in late October a number of years ago and the weather wasn't nearly as kind.

World-class production here. Simply outstanding. These 100 degree days in Florida now have me wanting to jump into these beautiful lakes you have shown.

This looks like it has some minor HDR involved? Whatever you did it is perfect and just incredible. Amazing photos!

Great pics. The second one isn't actually "the town of Banff" though. The actual town is pretty darn big and crowded with cars, tourists, stores, hotels, houses, buildings etc, etc.

Thanks for your compliments. One more, HDR with 4 exposures. Hard to fix the broken people at the lower right corner though.

Great clarity in all these photos. What beautiful scenery not to mention no wind for mirror reflections, great clouds. You not only have to have good technical ability but a little luck with Mother Nature never hurts.

Stunning series! I agree that these are some vivid shots, with excellent processing--a deft touch with HDR and Topaz! Let's see more!

Sweet series! Great comps throughout. I love number two, and it would be perfect if not for the branches in the upper right.
