Damsel's eye!

This is a common damselfly, perched the flower of a buttercup and looking at me as if to say "what type of flower is that looming over me" as it sees a Sigma 105 and 3 extension tubes homing in on it's head!

The background was easily achieved by having some wood behind the subject, and the there was practically no wind.

Me being me, I went for the head shot before the enviro, cos I always like to get in close first in case I don;t get the chance afterwards!

C&C as always.
