I had the pleasure of meeting this wonderful family this morning. Mom is in her late 30s and wanted to have a baby, so she conceived via anonymous sperm donor and gave birth to this wonderful chunky monkey 3 weeks before her due date. Mom really is just an absolute sweetheart and Miss Phoebe is just a pure doll, a complete pleasure to shoot.
These are just the first few that have been edited, C&C welcome.
1. Mom said "I'm not usually a fan of headbands on babies, but I have this one if you want to use it..." I had it on her head in .02 seconds. Who could resist the zebra?

2. She requested a Mommy/Daughter shot, I shot both a digital and a flim copy, hopefully, my 50+ year old Brownie delivered.

4. I've been DYING for a beautiful changing table, I saw this and rearranged the wall art to score this.

Really beautiful photos! Love them! <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6029383/emoji/clap.gif" border="0" alt="" >
I am shooting a 2 month old boy next week and I am curious what lenses you have used on the different photos. I would be grateful if you shared!
Canon 5D MARK II, Canon EOS 450D
Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L, Canon 18-55mm
Canon 50mm 1.8, Canon 75-300mm, Tokina 10-24mm, Sigma 18-200mm
I used my 40D and my 28-55mm f/2.8 for those shots, but I've managed some sell-able shots with just my XT and a kit lens. I know it sounds like a broken record, splurge on a $100 50mm 1.8. You'll thank yourself for it and it will MORE than pay for itself. Just don't shoot with it wide open, it has a hair trigger of a focal plane.
