Proof days when ordering prints

When someone wants to buy my prints, I generally order them myself, sign, and frame them, then give them to my customer. I have proof days set to 2 in case someone orders from my site on their own.

If I am ordering my own prints, does that 2-day proof delay apply? I don't know whether I have to set it back to zero each time I order something from my own site. For example, I just ordered 7 prints for someone and requested 2-day shipping, so I don't want to also have to wait for the 2-day proof delay.
