From LA to Tracy

Is there anything worth shooting between Los Angeles and Tracy along Highway 5?

I plan on stopping at Vasquez because I haven't been there in about 10 years.

Just wondering if there is anything that should catch my attention.

    OK well there is not much. Tejon Ranch on top of the Grapevine. Everything else is off the interstate a ways. Lots of farmland and golden hills. Depends on what you are looking for. Wildflowers are probably all gone to seed by now.

    During wildflower season the Tejon Pass area has wildflowers.

    Fort Tejon State Historic Park is right off the Interstate.

    I've never driven the Old Ridge Route, but that might be an adventure, but would
    add time to your drive.
