Yea, I know these are about a week late, but I have to wait on RacerX to look through them and decide which one they want to keep. They took 5 from this race, but I'm not guaranteed any of them will make it in. I just sit back now and wait.

Anyway, enjoy the leftovers.

Nice exposures Erbe. Jeeze a lot of background junk; even with your good bokeh. Close quarters I guess

Did you ever look into Alien Skin Bokeh? Fast bokeh presets that work real good

    Nice work

Yea, there's not much getting around it. This particular track puts the spectators right up on it damn near the whole track, along with all the vendors, tents, TV folks and all their equip. There is just a few spots to get a clean shot. That's ok though. I'm shooting big events, and one should get the feeling of being at a big event by viewing the pics. So, I just do my best to throw the background out of focus and run with it.

No, I've not checked out Alien Skin Bokeh. I'll take a look now though.

It's interesting. I wouldn't call the backgrounds junk. It's pretty much what I expect at the track. The bokeh is awesome. Sharp shots. Great action.

    I'm jealous. Nicely done!

    Good luck with it

It seems to me, you shoot cover quality stuff; so where does the mag put their content teasers if the background competes with the words?

Verbage generally is not on the pictures themselves. Go grab the latest issue of RacerX and check it out.
