1. Immature Eastern Towhee. In Florida we get both the white-eyed and the red-eyed sub-species.
2. Had a herd of Bison cross my path, when all I had on me was my 150mm macro lens. :dunno
3. I did get this shot of an anole though.
4. Here is a bird I was not expecting to see during the day. A Common Nighthawk.
5. A Halloween Pennant taken with my 500mm.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Like dem der buffs.
I would say how much I like the dragon fly... but...it ain't no birdie! Commenting on two things that ain't birds might bring down the wrath of "the friendly mod".

I wish I was half the man that my dog thinks I am...
Thanks Wally! (Not a bug expert-just looked up the id)
Thanks Mark!
I think the white eyed towhees are pretty much unique to Florida.
Thanks Stephen!
The Bison are wild and are found on Payne's Prairie near Gainesville. I was surprised at how fast the Nighthawks fly. Getting a photo of them is not easy.
Thanks Harry! Hope you had a good time in New Orleans.

Thanks Jeff! Actually I think the mosquitoes are having more fun than me!
I think the rule is you gotta have a bird in there, preferably an egret or heron.
I should probably throw in some more Bison too!

You don't get to see wild herds of anything very much in the wild anymore.
It was great seeing the young ones!
Thanks Dan!
Dragonflies have been my main subject matter of late.
Thanks Mike!

Glenn was cool because he had mammals, a reptile and birds.
Now if he just posted the dragon fly alone or the dragon fly and a squirrel it would have been out of here.
