Imagine Trying To Repair This

Yup. That's a real Rolls-Royce. More specifically, it's a 1938 Rolls-Royce Wraith. All the wood you see is Peruvian Walnut. It took three years to assemble all the body panels, finish them, hinge them, and mount them to the chassis. A lot of additional time was spent constructing the dual instrument panels.
When ready for final finish, 12 coats of Marine varnish were applied and that was topped off with 2 coats of auto Clear Cote. The upholstery is blue smooth leather trimmed with blue faux alligator. The carpeting is gray lambskin. There's not a flaw anywhere on this thing. Unbelievable.
And, yes, in the trunk is a large jar of Grey Poupon.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Artistically & Creatively Challenged
…and thanks again, Tom!
Reminds me somewhat of the 1924 Hispano-Suiza Tulipwood Torpedo

OK< I thought the Train Car/Limo was the wildest I'd seen,
This one takes the Cake, what a beautiful car and I can't believe
the Craftsmanship, and the wonderful tones of the wood.
Very Nicely Done once again You Rascal!!

Man, I hear you. When I first saw this car, all I could think was " wow ".
Thanks for looking in.
Tom
I'm with you. I'd be scared to death to take this thing out on the road.
Take care,
Tom
I thought this one might catch your eye.
Thanks for the link to the Hiapano-Suiza. Very Interesting.
Take care my friend,
Tom
Thanks for the kind words. I knew you'd appreciate this one. You just can't stand in front of this thing and not be flabbergasted. It's hard to imagine several people having the skills and talent to create such a car.
Take care buddy,
Tom

Bug splatter, rock chips, road grime....anything like that would keep me from taking this thing on the road.
Be well,
Tom
It's good to hear from you over in Belgium. Thanks for looking in.
Tom
I couldn't find anyone who was " babysitting " this car. It had miles on the odometer but they could well have been there before the car underwent this transformation....they probably were. You can bet that this car doesn't see many road miles, if any.
Take care,
Tom
Thanks for looking in. I'm with you on the " wow " part.
Tom
Do you have any other pics of it, perhaps from other perspectives or close-ups of the instrument panels?
There are some here
…but they're nowhere near as good as Tom's!

(also you might throw "1938 Rolls-Royce Wraith walnut" into google (All praise be to google! )
Its a jaw-dropper for sure. Thanks for the visit.
Tom
Thanks for taking a look. The info Wil passes on is just what you want. I only took the one shot.
Tom
The site you mentioned is exactly the one I would have refered Will to. I often visit that site for additional info if I need to. I really appreciate your willingness to jump in and help when needed. Many thanks.
Take care,
Tom
Grey Poupon? What.

As always, I appreciate your support. A little Grey Poupon never hurt anybody.
Take care,
Tom
Now, I'd believe that of many folks....but not of you. Not of " Mr. Eloquence " himself.
I hope you're doing well, my friend,
Tom
Thanks for looking in.
