Google search results have changed

Hello all!

I have a bit of a problem here. I did a search of my site on google (I searched after my name) and it shows my site, but the link has changed from www.dorinbofan.com to dorinbofan.smugmug.com. Any ideas why this has changed? It was displaying the custom site name and link a few weeks ago.

I don't know why Google does what it does, but I do see that your very link here in your dgrin posting is to http://www.dorinbofan.smugmug.com/ (it doesn't look that in the text, but that's where the link actually points in your dgrin sig). You should never, ever use that in public. If you don't use it, then Google won't know about it and will only be able to report your custom domain.

Yup - and it dropped the "www" because it's irrelevant when you're using the smugmug.com version of the address.

That's strange. I'm very sure that the link in the signature was directing to the custom domain before. Something has changed and it's beyond me. I've checked all the other signatures I'm using on other websites and they're fine. I'm now using exclusively the custom domain. I guess I have to wait to see what happens next.
