Im Mike and have recently posted in the nature forum.Landscape photography is also my passion so I thought I would post some shots in here as well.I live in the country and these were all taken within a 20 mile radius of my home. Thanks for your time.In some cases the sky was a wash out so I had to fix it.Thanks...Mike

    Stunning quality!
Mike, all those are absolutely fantastic! I can only imagine having them printed 20x30 on the canvas or lustre and framed ...thumb.gif

What gear and what pp techniques did you use (if you don't mind my asking)?

    Cheers!1drink.gif

Welcome to Dgrin, Mike. Those are all so good it's hard to pick a favorite, but #1 and #4 really blow me away. Looking forward to seeing more.

    Cheers.

Thanks Nikoli.I shoot with a Nikon D70 and Sigma lens. For these I was using the 28-300mm,yes very slow and not that sharp.I just bought the 50-500mm and am enjoying it.Photoshop was used and in some cases a slight blurr was added and then sharpened.Levels and hue&sat adjusted. Some shots had the sky replaced due to blow out in the clouds. Can you tell which ones...ne_nau.gif ..Mike

They are all very good Mike. I especially like 1 and 3. I tried but I can't figure out which ones had the sky replaced, congratulations, you have successfully fooled at least one personclap.gif. Hope to keep seeing more shots like these.

Great shots. I would say there is something really special about the second one. I like its character - it's like an oil painting.

A very nice set of images. Thanks for sharing. One nit pik, the right side of the tree line on image #2 has some layer mask issues I believe. Easy enough to fix. Again, great shots.
