Does anybody know if you can put screw on filters on the front of the lens of the Canon G11 or G10.
I want to mount it to a motorcycle and want a protective lens on it.

I believe that you need to use an adapter in order to attach filters onto either the Canon G10 or G11, like:

(Be sure to read the user comments.)
If you are going to expose the camera to open air at high speeds you might also consider enclosing the entire camera and fitting a filter to the box to use as an optical port, similar to an underwater case.
