I had a brainstorm for a play on this theme but I'm not 100% sure I executed the feel I was going for.... Help? Thoughts/opinions GREATLY appreciated.

I'm planning a re-shoot some other locations.

Ok--please don't take this the wrong way,but I will say what first came to mind when I saw this--the movie Children of the Corn--which def doesn't say innocence.

Not because your kids look like that but because they are children and they are standing in a field of corn, plus they look a little upset.

    Am I the only one?

EDIT: Let me just add that I love the light on the shot and the colors and I get where you were going--just that's what came to mind for me.

They're squinting, right? I think light that doesn't make them squint. I like the younger boys pose, kind of looking out into the corn, like a farmer surveying his crops. that starts to get at the theme for me, and I'd be interested in seeing that theme explored.

Couple more from that session... if none of these float then I'll be hoping for a productive reshoot. Thanks to everyone for looking, chiming in!

I, too, like #3--it's a great photo and it conveys the innocence theme strongly. Nice shot!

I like #3 the most also... with the warm colors, lines, and the two different personalities that seem to be captured in the photo.
