Something not right for me in LR3

my last task in my workflow is to export a set of images at very low resolution (#5 on the export scale in LR3).....so everything is set and all info established.....click export and it is done in a snap.....

I go to the file on the HDD and open it in PS......instead of being a small 670KB file....PS shos it as the full 39mb.

where am I going wrong???

I do not want to have to run each individual image thru PS and save for the web just to get a set of small res proofs........

There are a couple of other parameters to set - I usually reset the "size" by choosing "Longest side =" and then set it for either 600 or 800 px. I also knock the dpi down to 240. That makes a nice set of small, lo-rez proof-type images. HTH.

And I am LOVING the ability to watermark in LR - at last!!!!
