Just some captures of those annoying gulls at the beach. ** squak squak squak squak squak **
Life's a beach....then you get bombed by the gulls overhead.

A couple negative scans....from my Minolta Dimage film scanner. Hmmm still not getting this new fangled contraption figured out yet. Grrrrrrr.
Losing all kinds of detail...sharpness..color on these scans.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

I like the terns much better. They at least have a cool hair doo.

The terns, I have not seen their hair before. I can't tell if it was a bad or a good hair day for them. I love those birds. Haven't seen any lately. I look at the beach, I see people, no birds.
good shots of the gulls and the terns,
ginger (I used to think they only had one leg til I found the other one tucked up under their belly.)
Cheers

I hear ya about gulls They can be a PITA and noisy to boot but if they're the only subjects to shoot, ya shoot gulls.....lol While I'd rather shoot raptors or colorful waterfowl, I have seen some "knock your socks off" gull shots posted. Maybe because they're so prolific we take them for granted I do know that if you get good at shooting gulls in flight, you're a good bet to nail any other fliers when the chance presents itself
Good work on these

A bad day shooting BIF is better than any good day at work. And shooting "gulls" is more fun than a sharp stick in the eye...or a trip to the dentist.
