I like the first one best, but I think it just misses the mark, since it would appear that the strongest element in the picture is the solitude of that one stalk. The composition's a little off, however, as the background is competing with it instead of setting it off as unique. Maybe your depth of field needs to be smaller in order to put the background out of focus, or maybe if you had repositioned slightly to get it off that dark plant it might have helped. I also wonder what would happen if you worked with the curves more in order to give it more of a high contrast feel.
