First of all i'd like to say hi to everyone here, new to the forum.

OK here a few sea bird images but sadly these are the last images from my canon 450D because it drowned in the sea after these were taken in a small bay at Flamborough Head in Borth Yorkshire. The camera was tripod mounted but a wave was the sand away from one the pod legs and the pod tipped over...good news though i will soon own a canon 50D...:ivar...

Thnx for the welcome note...sadly i can't quite go as far as the 7D, the 50D will be a nice upgrade considering all i've used are the entry level cameras, though i can't knock the quality to be honest and as it's said at times it comes down to the user and not the tool, especially when it comes down to editing for the final result.

Welcome Karl and those are wonderful captures. Well exposed and with good composition.

Condolences on your lost equipment. Whe you get your new set up yyou might want to coinsider getting it insured.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Love the Gannet portraits! Sorry about the gear!
A couple years ago I tripped and broke my 400DO into two pieces.
It cost me $1700.00 to have it repaired by Canon.
