A couple of ideas. Do either of them work? Any suggestions?

1 - Alchemy

Of the two photos I prefer the second one. I find the shadows on the first one intrusive but then I don't consider myself an expert either. If I had to spell the title for the second one I'd really be in trouble! JustPeachy2

    Thanks, JustPeachy2!

I can work on the lighting in the first. Do you think it conveys the concept of knowledge at all?

Epistemology is the branch of philosophy that explores what knowledge is. My son is minoring in philosophy, so we have had long discussions about it.

Does the 2nd convey the concept of knowledge?

#2 also, thank you for the definition I was about to google it. It does convey knowledge in some repects due to the computer and wiki page

    # 2 i think. The first concept could work but you'd need a lot more equipment/props.

definately #2. I am not getting the relationship between the doll and knowledge.

Thanks for the comments, DsrtVW, PyroPrints, and JAG!

The concept in #1 is a bit schizophrenic and I think that is why it is not coming across. The doll had kind of a voodoo look to me and the mortar and pestle are tending toward a chemistry/alchemy concept. I think to make it work, I have to go one direction or the other. The idea was ancient/false knowledge.

I am not hearing a lot of excitement about #2, either. I'm trying to figure out how to make it stronger.

I have a couple of other ideas, also. I'll see where I can go with those as well. And maybe I can clarify the concept in the first.
