Seaside

I went to the seaside this weekend and tried my new 10D out shooting raw but i think i cocked up with the white balance in rawshooter, what do you think any advice would be appreciated

    I like the texture in the first, but both pictures do have a weird color. I wouldn't mind seeing these with a RAW development "as shot", to compare what your 10D made of it, and what you made of it. If you just can't get it right, you might also use levels in your post processing application, and adjust the white, black and midgrey points.

    I think i may be trying to adjust it too much in rawshooter is this better

    It is better, since the wood looks more like wood. Since I don't know the actual color of the wood, I can't say if you've nailed it this time. It still feels a bit reddish, but that might have been the actual situation.
