#53 Knowledge attempts

Evening! Wondering if these say "Knowledge" to anyone, also your thoughts on lighting/comp/interesting or not, etc. I love these old books...the moral education book is from early 1900's and makes me snicker when reading some parts. Anyway, always appreciate your thoughts and ideas for improving or dumping and rethinking. Thanks so much!

    They're all good but 2 has great colors. in order i would say #2,1,3

    The shallow DOF works for #1, but doesn't appeal to me for the others.

    The crisp letters in #1 work.

    I think the lighting in #2 is a bit harsh, but I like the colors.

    I like your idea and I like the use of older, well-read books.

    Thanks...good feedback! : ) I agree the lighting in #2 is funny...and I'm not crazy about the background. This weekend I'll have a chance at a couple of other subjects, so we'll see what I can get. Sure appreciate the comments. Loving these challenges...I find myself really thinking about set-up, composition, lighting, etc. like never before. This is a wonderful community. thumb.gif
