    Wow
Fantastic. That one should be on a calendar at the very least. Preferably somewhere longer lasting.

OK, where were you that you saw this????

I would have been too awestruck to click the camera shutter (well, at least the first time!)

Really nice shot, thanks for sharing it with us.

OK Ed, This is absolutely the last time I turn down an invitation to go whale watching, or bear watching for that matter, to attend the wedding of one of my wife's friends! :cry Great shot! clap.gif

A successful whale watch indeed then... I know they (the cruise people) keep an eye on where the whales are to guarantee a sighting, but they probably can't make them jump up on cue!

    What kind of whale? :):

That is a beautiful shot Ed, I bet that smile is still on your face hu :D
Right place, right time for you thats for sure.........animals are so unpredictable, but when you do manage to capture a great shot, it seems to be forever a great shot, no matter how old it gets doesn't it.

    Excellent Capture Ed.... Skippy (Australia)

Thanks Skippy, yeah the smile is still there..

Animals are one of the most challenging things to shoot, so many things have to go right and then you still have a chance to blow it completely...:D

    Very good Ed! thumb.gifthumb.gif

Great action. Only the tough lighting keeps this one from being right up there with your National Geographic quality "Jumping Coyote" mwink.gif

OK, now for the important data. You guys went whale watching. Did ya go from Moss Landing? If so, did ya stop at Phil's? 10944573-Ti.gif :eat
