theft of images

First, I need to pay more attention to my smugmug. I pay good money for it and I'm discovering great features, like the 'referrer' links on my image stats. Just tonight I discovered that a site has been ripping me off, it's a chinese site of stock images, baidu? Interesting though, because I can't contact them, everything is foreign. I did want to alert everyone to this.

I had to click on the 'referrer' tab you guys offer and the actual number to pull it up. If I get a chance tonight I'll go collect it for you. Thanks Andy! In spite of that, I'm still a huge smugmugger lover!

Can't quite tell what's going on there since it's all in Japanese. Clicking the photo just goes to the next photo in their list. Not sure if they're selling it or what, but it's a low res photo.

picsdigger.com has a few too (http://picsdigger.com/image/00acdcc2/). They don't seem to be selling anything, but they are serving up ads.

I know of at least 6 images of mine that I had linked to facebook through the share button on my pro account. They are linked to fb site though and not my smugmug account, yet they register on my refferals tab on my smug site. I know its been already said that if your galleries are public then there is nothing we can do. But it kinda ticks me that regardless of a pro account...your stuff will still be farmed by these sites. They are giving the images away as wall paper pretty much.

Cant miss it with all the watermarking. Its got the most hits for the stolen images and was taken from dgrin as far as I can guess.

www.singsnap.com they want me to buy a gold membership to see where my image is. I sent them an email and gave them 3 days to find the image and remove it before a more legal action be taken.
