Very nice Brian. You used an electronic flash off camera for a light source?

The grasshopper was shot with the Nikon SB800 on camera.

The butterflies were shot with the pop up flash on the D100.

I experimented with the flash off camare the other day but didn't get anything good enough to share. I will work on it some more. I need to make a bracket to mount the flash on, as holding it in one hand and shooting with the other will not work.

Just to add I use a generic vidcam light bracket (pretty cheap) plus an off camera flash cord (not so cheap) for mine.
    Good shots BTW
