Got a few shots off before the light got too harsh.

    Nice stuff as usual Jacobovs

On the last one, why don't you try a B&W conversion. Crank up the contrast, over sharpen & see what you get. Might be nice

Good work (that lens is really great)

Great captures but they're a little flat. I'd bump up the contrast a bit and maybe play with vibrance/saturation to bring out the color in the water a bit more.

Looks good to me, maybe a little more contrast. I confess to being a little partial the grainy high contrast old film Tri X look.

More importantly; what do you think.

Tried it again, I was not completely convinced. I really like this one though.

Harsh light is tough to shoot in. Of the set, #5 looks best with regard to exposure and brightness/contrast. I'd toss the first one. It lookd OE and seems like PS was used to recover the surfer. Maybe it's my monitor but some of them also seem soft with respect to sharpness on the athlete. I also notice the exposure and brightness/contrast are inconsistent across the set.

Great shots and my favorite is number 5. And in my humble opinion these kinds of shots should never be B&W. Color , color, color!
