I just squeezed in an engagement session tonight with a fun stylish couple. We met at their wedding site and went over a giant sequoia grove, but the mosquitos came out in force before we go to the sequoias. I hope I get to shoot their wedding!

Let me re-phrase your last sentence:

"THEY should hope you are willing to shoot their wedding"!

Awesome, as always ... what should I say? The only thing I don't "get" is the white line on the bottom right corner on the last pic ... where does that come from?

Other than that, spot on!! iloveyou.gif

    Brand Spankin-Amazing!
I am, once again, totally amazed.
Gorgeous job with the lighting. You sure can tell when a guy doesn't have to fight Speedlights for power.

Thanks everyone, I had a great time with them. Right after I took the first shot of the groom #1 (he looked nervious so I wanted to get him in front of the camera ASAP) he told me how happy he was that I didn't ask him to look into the camera and smile. I knew I was going to like this couple!

@Angie that white line is a testament to my dislike of photoshop. It was a ray of sun light coming in through the door. As you can tell, the building we were in was not in tip top shape and I was afraid that if I moved the door anymore it might bring the house down. I probably will PS that out though..

The coloring in number 4 is just fantastic. I even love the airplane lines leading my eyes to the couple. Really well done. I want to shoot a wedding with all those tattoos! That would be hot!

LOVE your shots. I'm now going to steal your skills by way of a magical photo skill enhancing "laser"...

^^ As said above, get some macro tattoo shots at the wedding :D lol.

as usual Pat, this is some great work. I too would love to see what you will do with the tats. Something tells me you will blow our socks off there! And Angie is exactly right... they should be so lucky.

Amazing stuff here. I totally admire your quality, and eye for a shot. Good inspiration to me. I don't think I really have a favorite here, as they are all equal eye candy for me.

Thanks again everyone! And a quick update on #6 - I spent the required 35 seconds in photoshop to fix the white line. It does look better - good call! I guess now I should post these up in the before and after thread...
