How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Too easy to pick one of the Spoonbills. thumb.gif

The Egret with the twig is about as perfect a flight shot one could hope to get on a white bird....outstanding DOF and clarity.mwink.gif

Outstanding captures all, but I don't think that you can do better than that Egret in #2. Fantastic capture indeed.........thumb.gif

Usually you either have an all blue or greyish BGs on the flight captures. I love it when there are some clouds in the sky to give it some depth.

I love the spoonbliis for their color. I just noticed some haloing on that first spoonie capture. I hate halos :bash

I'm going to have to take that one back to PS.

Great shots. You must put in your time to get in position for these. I like #2 the best. All of the shots have great detail and the colors are nice. All keepers, for sure.

Thanks Glenn and Dennis. I would love to see what you guys could do with the great ops at the rookery.

Thanks Kevin. Shooting at a rookery is tougher than one would think. You have lots of ops for mediocre captures but its tougher to get a really good captures. You have to look for the good light and an area w/o distracting backgrounds.
