Here are a few more from Alaska. This is a variety, not all landscape, but I thought I'd get your C&C on these while I continue my PP on the landscape/wildlife shots. Please bring on your C&C so I can continue to make these shots better.

Thanks,
Lauren

3. High noon so light was harsh, but I liked the subject of this one

4. Floatplanes are plentiful in Juneau, as there are no roads into the city

5. 4 shot pano; I thought the subtle sepia tone would look nice for this scene, even tho these bldgs aren't old

    WOW, wonderful images.
The first one looks picture perfect, I could picture it in a cruiseline advertisement.

I agree. That could be your first commercial shot - especially if you happen to know what ship / cruise line it is. The scale of the ship to the shore is excellent.

I liked the sepiatone treatment on your pano too. Very nice.

Wow! Thanks for the nice compliments . . . I wish I could've found out which ship that was. There were several of them in the area but I never saw that one up close.

Yes, the first looks like an ad... I especially like the last - #6 but maybe if you could fix the contrast a tad...

I figured out which cruise line #1 is! It would be nice if they liked my shot.

Here is a redo of #6. Is this version better? Or is the right side still too dark? I don't think the rock was that dark.

I agree with others. The first one is a perfect add for the cruiseline. Nicely done. Good exposure, used the rule of thirds, waterline doesn't split the image, ship is pointing in towards the center... Good job thumb.gif
