Allow the Buy This Photo option in Thumbnails view

OK, so I already added my feature request to Uservoice, here, but I'm posting here in part to drum up a little more support for the idea and in part to see if it's something I can allow that I've overlooked.

In the Thumbnails view, the "This Photo" option is greyed out under the buy menu, but I greatly prefer the interface of "This Photo" over "Photos in this Gallery" interface.

Is it possible for me to allow the "This Photo" option and have it trigger a drop down prompt to pick which photo, similar to the way the share button currently works? Or am I right to have it as a feature request?
