    Re: Something Different
Sam, this is an interesting image. Very appealing visually. I'm looking on a droid phone, so I can't see fine detail.
    What is it?
    Cheers,

This is a rock I found while trekking across the desert floor to the Eureka Sand Dunes.

There is a wealth of interesting rocks, plants, insects, ground plant formations, etc. if you just stop and look down.

The image has been run through ACR / Photoshop where slight exposure, level, color saturation, sharpening, and crop was done. No additional elements, textures, colors or painting was added.

You would have no trouble finding the final image I posted here within the original capture.

I hope that answers your question.

    Very nice image, Sam!

Intimate details like these almost always escape my eye when I'm out looking for landscapes. Well seen! thumb.gif

I sat and looked at it wondering what it was since it was so pretty. A rock...never thought about that. That's what I love about abstracts :D

Great job on this one thumb.gif

I don't know. It doesn't do a whole lot for me. I like the colors but that's about it.

Can you link it so we can see a larger version?
