Hi. I just read my new issue of Outdoor Photography Canada (summer/fall 2010 issue). They reviewed an iPhone / iPad application called Easy Release ($9.99) that allows you to get a signature right on your iPhone / iPad as well as insert all of the relevant information. I blue the budget and bought it and have to say it does EVERYTHING they said it would do. No more lugging a bunch of paper releases and pens along (and forgetting one or the other) - it's right there on my iPad. You get a pdf emailed to you with the signatures on it that you can either save electronically or print and file depending on your needs. Thought I'd share the joy.

I'd prefer a paper release with enough area to write a legible signature to show to a judge, but that's just me.

After I read this thread I did a search for other similar apps and found iRelease. It looks like Easy Release is the better solution and it's also less expensive!

Can't beat the price. I love having my releases handy.

I am using this oun my iPad. Things seemed to be working, but when I email the PDF to myself it is never seen again. I double checked that I had the right email address type in. Have you ever had this problem?

Did you check your SPAM folder?

Yep, nada. BUT, their customer support is phenomenal and I simply changed to another email address, resent and it worked.
