    Yep that branch sure is twisted! Nature or nurture?

    Your treatment gives the image a dramatic effect. I like it, and I would be tempted to try emphasise it more with some careful vignetting.

    Looking at the full-sized image it appears to have several points of damage, and the strongest bend seems to have been either wind or freezing rain damage.
