Issue when uploading an image?

Good day,
it is not smug issue, but I am just wondering if anyone else had similar experience to what one of my clients is (was) having.
Last night, a member of one of the bands I did a shoot for reached out to me saying that he is unable to upload images I provided them with to their facebook page.
When he looks at images on his PC, all looks fine, however, when he uploads these images VIA the JAVA uploader, they would look like this:
I tried uploading same image on my own, and am unable to duplicate the problem.. but I am running mac uploader.
He did try to use a standard built in uploader, and it worked fine.
Questions are:
anyone seen that before?
what can potentially causing Java to do that to an image?
thank you in advance.

java is a programming language [ say script ] for games , and animated stuff
why use an java uploader to upload images ?
you dont use an image-uploader to upload files or games too ?
so , why the other way around ?

He says that when he used a standard app, all worked fine.
I am just curious what can be causing the problem.

ok , ok ,ok
you want to know why
stop looking at an image as an image , its not
an IMAGE is what you see , thats all
as long as its in your computer , it it a FILE-type ;
ea ; .jpg , .gif , .tif are file-types , not images
.jar and ,js are java extension s , also file types
there exist thousands of extensions
extensions are there to determine a file type
opening one type with another application can give conflicts
sorry if U dont understand , as i live on the other side of the planet

If it was a Javascript correction, or what part of the java uploader causes the problem.
I understand what extension is, or what the file is..
Been in this field for over a decade...

basflt, the way you communicate your help has a lot to be desired. I'd back off with calling other users here "stupid." Either try harder to be nice and helpful, or leave this thread entirely.
And BTW, Smugmug actually offers a Java uploader and it works well.

I know SMug offers it.. but it is Smug's uploader, so off course it works well.
I plan on pulling the FB code tonight, and taking it apart.. I think I know what part causes the problem.. but will know for sure later on tonight.
