Thought I'd share some nautical pictures with you. Enjoy!

1. Glowing sails in Newport RI harbor at sunset, while on the Jamestown Ferry. Shot with a Nikon D80, set at ISO800 due to the low light and subject motion. The Nikkor 18-200 AF-VR lens came in handy to reduce motion blur while being on a boat. Wish there was less noise. Need a bigger sensor and a faster lens.

    Some great shots. I like the Tugs. I actually got to go on a ride on the Eugenia a few years back. Was a lot of fun, just wish I had owned a camera back then!
    Equipment: Canon 40D and Powershot SD750. Lenses: 18-55mm, 28-135mm and 70-300mm.
