Last in, First out sorting not available?

I want the latest uploaded pic to be always the first pic displayed in the 1st page of the gallery, so that one don't have to scroll to the last page to view it. Sometimes I will give a caption to the pic, and sometimes I just leave the file no. untouched. I have to do a manual sorting everytime i load up an image. What I want is simply Last In, First Out.

I've experimented various permutation, 'file name'" "caption," "date & time modified," "date & time taken," 'date & time digitized" and combined trying with ascending and descending order, but none seems able to fulfill the order I wanted. Just repeat again, what I want is Last In, First Out, regardless whether I have done anything to caption it, modified it, digitzed it all whatever.

I've gone checked thru' various threads (maybe not deep enough) but can't find one reply similar to what I want.

Seeking advise here. Thanks

Sort by date uploaded, descending... that would do the trick, no?

No Andy, I've tried them all and doesn't work at all. There are 3 options for "date .....something." Which one you're refering?
