Hi Michael - I really like the composition in #3 - what is it?

    Cheers, Richard.

Nice find, Michael. You don't see many of those teepee burners around here anymore. Back when I was a kid, there were many, because we had so many cedar mills. Not too many now. Your blue sky really sets off the rust color. Did you use a polarizing filter?

Was able to grab a quick few shots and get back on the road.
The shadow in this one looks sorta familiar somehow. ne_nau.gif:D

Thank you Richard. :D Some of the compositions came together pretty ok.
Kevin calls the item a "teepee burner". I'll go with that as I wasn't sure.

I've also heard them referred to as 'beehive burners'. Great pictures!

Great find, Michael. Nicely captured, too. I've never seen one of those " tee pee " things....had no idea what it was.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

    Thank you Tom. :D
As Kevin was saying they are getting more uncommon a sight all the time
and its way true. I only saw one other that I can recall in this last 1400
    mile venture.

Thank you Kevin. Knowing what to call them from your knowledge was
a big help. Another thanks to RaeBrown also. Even though I have been
around them from youth couldn't recall them being named. My dad drove
logs many times from the mill. Me with him. :D That was back when the
fishing was excellent on the Salmon. Rain or shine.

No polarizer. The sweet blue is a bit of a puzzle so's to speak. I know
what a long conversation that can be. Putting one on often gives me a
gray tone blue thats hard to fix in PP. So I don't use one unless its a
must. This trip on bumped camera settings picked rich blue like no other
time. Hence the puzzle with this camera. Won't complain but blue has
been a pain over a long time over several camera's. :D Book title comes
to mind. "Managing Blue" Problem solver for those with one.

very nice woods... well everything that way.

Was a near perfect outing. Could turn around and do it again easily.
    Calming comes to mind.
Very pleased you like the finish for the first. Thank you. I've been
getting a few out of camera that are decent and I am grateful.

a time dialing them or it in. Hope the don't hit file W. :D Your teepee shot
was on my mind the whole way.
    Thanks Mary K.

I'm glad my teepee shot was thought about :D One never knows if someone remembers what someone else has done.

Since your blue sky is "perfect" I'm going to hunt down the book you mentioned. I have a terrible problem with blue skies.

Well now you know. People do remember and that remembering counts to help see further. More better. :D
Major plus towords getting something... well closer to right there. Hehe.
All works I see go down the road with me. I am simply trying to be as good. Like we all are.

:D That book. Isn't written with that
title I made up... so far as I know. I only know the read on blue and this that is out there. Still trying to NAIL it.
    Your nail was good. :D
    Comes and goes.
