Robber fly (Asilidae) with an aphid it has caught.

Drone fly (Eristalis) on a Coreopsis flower.

Canon EOS 7D, MP-E 65mm 1-5x lens, and a diffused twin flash.
At Meadowbrook Park in Urbana, Illinois.
