Every year. She does this to me every year. This year its in my leather tool apron. My fault, I left it on the table saw and went on vacation for a week.

This year I am going to make the best of it since I very recently got a macro lens. I didn't get the eggs, but they were eggs yesterday and they have hatched. So I am going to go out every day or so and get a shot just for fun. For perspective, the wood screws in the other visible pouch are 3 inches long.

Excellent captures. I would definitely try to follow the progress of the nest. Just be careful not to disturb them.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks! I would never touch it, and hopefully won't bother the mother much with the picture taking. She flies in and out all day, so there are lots of opportunities to get a quick shot while she is gone.

Its amazing how fast they grow. They were not in a photogenic mood, and I didn't want to bother them any more than necessary, but here is July 3, 2010 -
