I went to the Woodies on the Warf event today on the Santa Cruz warf where I met our April there and she lent me her 8 mm fish eye to try out. I should have removed the hood :cry but all I was trying accomplish was to see how it worked so I just shot at random.
In the first image the dog could have licked the lens if he stuck his tong out!
This thing is unbelievably wide. I had to be careful or I would have my back in the image! What fun.................:clap

Despite the visible photographer feet, I like the composition on the car shot. You've got that circular hood ornament almost perfectly centered, and it was a stroke of luck to have two cars with wooden doors to either side, adding to the symmetry.

Thanks for posting these images. I really missed going to this year's show. Looks like a great turn out. Love the fish eye images.
