Well my name is Tyler, I'm 20, and I enjoy photography, automotive photography. I'm working on getting a Canon 20D and accessories for shoots and sporting events. I've used the Canon D-Rebel (300D) for about 6 months now and had to return it (it was a friends...:wink) and just used my best-friend's Dad's 1D (ISO settings where off, I didn’t know how to change them,:cry) so the spark of interest in photography has hit me harder these last few weeks. I'm thinking about not just upgrading the camera, but actually getting a site and selling prints. Now I don’t think that my pictures are any good to sell as of now, but practice and learning makes permanent. Nothing can be perfect. So I'm going to leave you with a few pictures, and a few galleries I currently use. But what I'm asking is your opinion. Do you see a good base of skill? Do you think that I COULD start to actually make money in the business? And also, so I don’t start cutting myself, good comments on photos. :lust

Thanks for your time, and your comments.

Almost forgot, here are some of my most recent pictures (linked to full resolution):

And here is a gallery of some of my friends cars that I shot a few months ago. I don’t stand by these pictures like I should, they're just not as good as I know I could do... These pictures are linked to the full gallery, not the picture.

Here is my full gallery link. There are a lot of really old pictures in there. Knock yourselves out.

EDIT: I'm for sure going to get the camera, and I've set up a shoot with a local enthusiast. I'm going to really try for the best pictures possible, and I'll post them here for you to tell me they're mediocre.

If you will be mainly shooting cars I would suggest investing in a good circular polarizer. It will enhance the sky and get rid of a lot of the glare on the cars. Just know that a pircular polarizer will darken your shot by a couple stops so you will need to compensate for that.

    Good luck
