It may shock some of you, but I do shoot stuff other than cars. These hot " dog days " in Florida have me daydreaming of cooler times to come.....particularly the time I spend in the Blue Ridge Mountains. These scenes are in October, around Bass Lake....near Blowing Rock NC....which is one of my favorite places for an evening walk.

    What a Surprise, this almost made things feel cooler here as well.

    Love the beautiful colors and shades, really a very comforting image

    with a great feel and look.

    Oh how I love the Blowing Rock area..you're making me miss NC quite a bit with these shots. Just love the fall colors..I don't see those anymore :(

    Hey craig,

    I like your choice of the word " comforting ". I honestly believe that the comfort I feel in the Appalachians is the real reason I maintain a mountain house up there. Darlene thinks I'm half crazy when I tell her that I get a sense of serenity and strength from the rocks.
